Barn Moving Project
Preserving part of Henderson’s history became a reality on Friday, November 4 when the Robert O. Epp barn was moved to Heritage Park
Preparations and loading of the barn started the beginning of the week and on November 4, 2005, William’s Midwest House Movers from Hastings, Nebraska inched the barn through the ditch and onto the south road to begin the 4 mile trip which took 5 hours.
Donations are being accepted to help with this project. Contact Treasurer LaVonne Thiessen (402-723-4559) if you would like to donate to this project.
Memory Brick Project
We kicked off our Memory Brick project at the Henderson Home
Show on February 26, 2005 and have had a great response.

We received donations to get the courtyard completed and continue to take
donations for bricks to go in the walk paths that will connect the buildings. Walk path Memory Bricks may be purchased for $150 in honor of loved ones or
family remembrances which will be placed in walk paths connecting buildings in
the park.
To purchase a brick, print out an
order form, fill in the blanks, and mail with money to
LaVonne Thiessen. Mailing information is listed on the
order form. Questions may be directed to
LaVonne at (402) 723-4559.
